The Golden Gloves have always been very entertaining. I remember seeing a women's match that was more hard hitting and exhausting than most professional fights. I remember the name Jamie McGrath. After that particular match I imagine someone would borrow the nickname from Wild Wild West "Bloodbath McGrath"
I also remember now that i mention the women in the sport, about three or four years ago a woman died from concussive head trauma competing. People don't respect these fighters enough, even at an amatuer level they're still putting their lives on the line.
